Clinical Research: From Efficacy to Translation

The purpose of this presentation is to discuss the current state of intervention research in nursing and to explain the needed steps to move to translational research to develop truly evidence-based practice. The presentation will contrast efficacy, effectiveness, and translational research; describe a program of research illustrating these types of research; and present a proposal for a future research agenda.
